------------------------------------------------------------- Choices
in Childbirth Course
Julie Freitas teaches
this 8-Saturday course that completely prepares couples for the birth experience
and to care for their infant. Julie has been teaching for 30 years and believes
strongly that women can have a rewarding birth experience no matter what location
they feel most comfortable in - hospital, home, or birthing center. Please email
Jessica for more info. About Julie -
my husband and I are halfway through the class and already we feel so much less
fearful about labor and delivery. Julie offers an enormous amount of information,
with no judgments attached to any of it - she offers simple, clearly laid out
information with tremendous diplomacy, allowing us to make our own childbirth
choices from a sufficiently educated place. She is always available on the
phone to answer any number of questions. The great unknown of labor and delivery,
which can be quite frightening, has become a comfortable place of understanding
and knowledge. - Kate Anthony Julie's "Choices
in Childbirth" Class: I took Julie's "Choices in Childbirth"
class in the beginning of my second trimester and found it very helpful and informative.
I had heard so many horror stories from friends and family about their pregnancies
and births that I had started to believe that all pregnancies ended up with some
type of bad experience. After taking Julie's class, I realized that pregnancy
and delivery/labor are very beautiful and natural processes. Furthermore, I realized
that my pregnancy/delivery belong to me and that by taking an active role
and educating myself, I can achieve the outcome that I desire. After Julie's class,
I started reading a lot and also hired a doula. Now that I am entering my last
trimester, I no longer fear labor. I feel educated and confident that I have made
the best decisions for my hospital labor and delivery. - Feri Ebrahimi ------------------------- |
